Effective October 18, 2026. Please read carefully: these Terms include how your information is used for marketing and shared with event vendors, a limitation of liability, and where disputes are decided.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Invite To Events, doing business as inviteToevents (“inviteToevents,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of the website at invitetoevents.com, its subdomains, and every related feature, page, email and service (together, the “Platform”).
You accept these Terms when you (a) tick the box stating that you agree to them, (b) create an account, (c) submit an RSVP, or (d) otherwise use the Platform. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. If you use the Platform on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or submit an RSVP. The Platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
2. Definitions
Host: a person who creates an event, invitation or guest list on the Platform.
Guest: a person who receives an invitation, opens an event page, or submits an RSVP.
Vendor: an independent business listed in our marketplace that offers event-related goods or services, such as decorators, caterers, photographers, venues, DJs and planners.
Personal Information: information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you, such as your name, email address, phone number and event details.
Content: text, photos, video, music, designs and other material uploaded to or created on the Platform.
3. The services we provide
inviteToevents lets Hosts design digital invitations and animated video invitations, publish event pages, share private and public RSVP links, send invitations by email, track responses, and discover Vendors. Some features are free; others require a paid membership. We may add, change or discontinue features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce paid features during an active membership.
4. Accounts and security
You agree to give accurate, current and complete information, to keep it up to date, and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@invitetoevents.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend or close accounts that contain false information or that are used in breach of these Terms.
5. Host responsibilities
When you add guests or send invitations, you confirm that:
you know the people you invite and have a genuine personal or business relationship with them;
you have the right to give us their names, email addresses and phone numbers so that we can deliver your invitation and RSVP reminders;
you will not use the Platform to send unsolicited bulk messages, advertising, or anything unlawful, harassing, defamatory or misleading; and
the information on your event page is accurate, and you are solely responsible for the event itself, including its safety, legality, permits and any tickets or payments you collect outside the Platform.
You may see your Guests’ RSVP details and keep a list of past guests (“My Friends”) to invite to future events. You may use that information only to plan and communicate about your own events, and you must handle it in line with applicable privacy laws.
6. Guests and RSVPs
When you RSVP, the details you enter (for example your name, email, phone number, attendance, party size, meal choice and notes) are shared with the Host, who may save you to their guest list for future invitations. Your information is also handled by us as described in these Terms, including the section titled “How we use your information for marketing and share it with vendors.”
7. How we use your information for marketing and share it with vendors
By using this Platform, you give inviteToevents permission to use your information for marketing purposes. We may share your information with Vendors, and you may receive emails and calls from them.
What we use. Your name, email address, phone number, city or ZIP code, and event details such as the type of occasion, event date, approximate guest count and the services you browse (“Marketing Data”). For Guests, we do not use the event date or the Host’s private event details for our own marketing.
Our own marketing. We may send you emails about features, seasonal designs, offers, promotions and partner deals. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests within ten (10) business days. Unsubscribing does not stop service messages such as account verification, receipts, invitations a Host sends you, and RSVP confirmations.
Sharing with Vendors. To connect you with businesses that can help with your celebration, we may share Marketing Data with Vendors in our marketplace and with carefully selected event-industry partners. Vendors may contact you by email or telephone about their products and services. Vendors are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. They use your information under their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their communications, products or services. Under some state laws, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, this sharing may be considered a “sale” of personal data, and you have the right to opt out at any time (see “Your choices” below).
Calls and text messages. A Vendor or we will call or text a mobile number using automated technology or prerecorded messages only if you have given separate, express written consent by ticking the optional box for it. That consent is never a condition of using the Platform or buying anything, and you can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to a text or by writing to support@invitetoevents.com. Message and data rates may apply. Without that consent, contact by phone, if any, will be made manually and in line with applicable law, including do-not-call rules.
Your choices. You may at any time (a) unsubscribe from our marketing emails using the link in any email, (b) ask us to stop sharing your information with Vendors, and (c) withdraw consent to calls and texts, by writing to support@invitetoevents.com with the subject “Privacy choices.” After an opt-out we stop new sharing, but we cannot recall information that was shared before your request. Please contact any Vendor directly to stop that Vendor’s messages.
8. Service communications
By creating an account or submitting an RSVP, you agree that we may send you transactional messages related to your use of the Platform, such as verification codes, RSVP confirmations, reminders, receipts and security notices. These are not marketing and are sent even if you unsubscribe from marketing.
9. Privacy and data practices
Information we collect. Information you give us (account details, event details, guest lists, RSVPs, uploads and messages); information collected automatically (device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and similar technical data, collected through cookies needed to run the Platform); and information from third parties you connect, such as Google Sign-In and our payment processor.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Platform, for example which pages are viewed and how many invitations are created. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects device, browser, approximate location and usage information. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, guest list, invitation wording or event address to Google, and we turn off Google’s advertising features for this data. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics. You can also opt out with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How we use it. To provide and secure the Platform; to deliver invitations and RSVPs; to process payments; to provide customer support; to improve and develop features; to send marketing as described above; to share with Vendors as described above; to comply with law; and to enforce these Terms.
Service providers. We use trusted providers for hosting, email delivery, payments and similar services. They may process Personal Information only on our instructions. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Retention. Uploaded photos, audio and video are deleted automatically ninety (90) days after upload. Other information is kept for as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, dispute resolution and enforcement.
Security. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your Personal Information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data and certain profiling. Send requests to support@invitetoevents.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). If we decline, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and Texas residents may contact the Texas Attorney General if the appeal is denied. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
10. Memberships, payments and refunds
Paid memberships are a one-time charge that unlocks premium features for one (1) year from purchase. They do not renew automatically. Prices are shown before checkout and may change for future purchases. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers. Unless the law requires otherwise or we state a different refund policy at checkout, fees are non-refundable once premium features have been used. Promotional offers and discount codes are subject to the conditions stated with them, may expire, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
11. Vendor marketplace
Vendors are reviewed before they appear, but we do not guarantee and are not responsible for their qualifications, licensing, insurance, prices, availability, quality or conduct. Labels such as “Premium & Trusted” reflect our listing criteria, not a warranty. Any agreement you make with a Vendor is solely between you and that Vendor. Vendors who list on the Platform agree to use Personal Information they receive only to respond to and serve the person concerned, to honor opt-out requests, and to comply with all laws on email, telephone and text-message marketing.
12. Your content and our license
You keep ownership of Content you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example to resize or convert files) and display your Content solely to operate, provide and improve the Platform and, for public event pages, to show it to the people you share it with. You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything you upload, including photos of other people and any music, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights. Designs, templates, artwork, music and software we provide remain our property or our licensors’ and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use with your events.
13. Acceptable use
You agree not to: break any law; send spam or use the Platform to collect people’s information without permission; upload malicious code; probe, scan or attack our systems; scrape the Platform; impersonate anyone; post sexually explicit, hateful, violent or infringing material; or interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the Platform. We may remove Content and suspend accounts that we reasonably believe break these rules.
14. Third-party services
The Platform links to or integrates with services we do not control, such as Google, payment processors, maps and email providers. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
15. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT EMAILS WILL BE DELIVERED OR READ, OR THAT RSVP COUNTS WILL BE ACCURATE.
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INVITETOEVENTS AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PLATFORM, ANY EVENT, OR ANY VENDOR. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless inviteToevents and its owners, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your Content, your events, your use of the Platform, your dealings with Vendors or Guests, or your breach of these Terms or of law.
18. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by writing to support@invitetoevents.com; we will do the same. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may bring a claim in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. To the extent permitted by law, claims must be brought individually and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding.
19. Termination
You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Platform or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including marketing permissions given before termination, content licenses needed to wind down, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and dispute resolution) will survive.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version with a new effective date and, for material changes, give notice by email or on the Platform. Changes apply going forward; continuing to use the Platform after they take effect means you accept them.
21. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Platform. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Electronic acceptance, including ticking a checkbox, has the same effect as a signature.
